Shot-blasting
By shot-blasting the surface any contaminants are being removed, creating an ideal surface for applying a coating or further treatments to the profiles. Our blasting machine, equipped with eight powerful turbines, ensures that the blasting grit is forcefully directed onto the profiles, effectively removing contaminants from the surface.
The Heuvelman-family is active in trade since 1876.
Heuvelman Staal has 40.000 tons of stock.
Steel that shines, where rust declines.
The process of shot-blasting involves the elimination of mill scale, rust, or coatings. Our quality standard for shot-blasting profiles is SA 2,5. We can blast very carefully (SA 2,5) or swiftly clean, entirely depending on your preference.
Shot-blasting the profiles creates a certain degree of roughness on the blasted surface. By roughening the surface, this ensures better adhesion of any subsequent primer or coating.
When blasting the profiles, we ensure that they maintain their full traceability at all times.
OUR SERVICES
Cutting profiles to the required length is one of the services offered. We can perfrom sqaure cuts and mitre cuts, both horizontal and vertical mitre cuts.
Any contaminants such as rust and mill scale are removed by shot-blasting. SA 2.5 is our standard.
By providing the steel profiles with a layer of primer, the material is temporary protected against external influences such as moisture.
Hot dip galvanizing is an effective method to protect steel against corrosion, rust and other harmful influences.
Bending steel beams is one of the additional services we offer. Our collaboration with external experts provides us the opportunity to deliver this high-quality service.
By stamping materials with the corresponding heat number, we ensure that the material remains permanently traceable.
